Deputy City Clerk

Responsibilities

  • Provides customer service to the general public contracts and procurement, septic systems inspection program administration, event planning, volunteer coordination, facilities maintenance and records management.
  • Provides administrative support to the City Clerk/City Administrator for functions related to implementation of council policies and directives, preparation for and documentation of council meetings, issuance of occupation tax certificates, administration of contracts, municipal court functions, accounts payable, records management and intergovernmental reporting.
  • Provides administrative support to the Deputy City Administrator for functions related to building permits, zoning ordinance interpretation, variance and rezoning application analysis, stormwater management program and municipal election administration.
